The Central & Inner Asia Policy Research Institute (CIAPRI) is an independent, non-partisan think tank and strategic knowledge hub with a registered office in Munich, Germany. CIAPRI geographical scope encompasses Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan), Inner Asia (Mongolia), and the South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia). The institute provides applied research and high-level policy expertise related to this region that we see as not merely a vital crossroads between East and West, but a pulsating center of political, economic, and cultural transformation.
CIAPRI's mission is to foster sustainable prosperity and well-being, human security, and inter-regional solidarity across Europe and Asia. We create and integrate knowledge and practice to strengthen Europe–Central Asia cooperative capacity development in policy, business, research and education.
